DO’s And DON’Ts

  • Eat a light meal 1–2 hours before your session. Avoid coming on an empty stomach to prevent dizziness or weakness.
  • Avoid heavy exercise or strenuous activities right before the appointment.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing to allow easy access to acupuncture points.
  • Drink enough water. Kindly avoid alcohol, caffeine, or recreational drugs before and after the session.
  • Inform your acupuncturist about your medical history, medications, and any ongoing treatments.
  • Rest and relax during the session to enhance the treatment's benefits. Maintain a positive mindset to support your healing process.
  • Communicate openly with your acupuncturist about your symptoms, concerns, or discomfort during the session.
  • Commit to a consistent schedule for treatments if recommended by your acupuncturist. Try not to skip any session as much as possible.
  • Last but not least, both our time is precious. Hence, please communicate and let us know if there is a delay or change to your appointment time.
